There are still many who don’t understand why Kamala Harris’ campaign, which started with such an oomph, ended with a downright splat. What happened to the “brat?”
Well, you can thank good ol’ Joe Biden.
I’ve yapped enough — and rightly so — about the sheer, damning mediocrity of Joe Biden through 2023 and much of 2024. His lackluster reforms. His lack of action on inflation. And his stubborn, lame-brained decision to run for a second term.
In fact, his insistence on running again is the subject of not just one forthcoming book, but two: one by Jake Tapper and Alex Thompson and the other by Jonathan Allen and Amie Parmes. Both books are due for release in April and May. (If the last two names sound familiar, that’s because of their excellent, eye-opening book, Shattered, which exposed how Hillary Clinton’s campaign unraveled so spectacularly. Note: her campaign was even worse than I imagined!)
