Science says love is a chemical reaction involving multiple hormones acting simultaneously.

It also says that a certain part of the brain lights up when you see the person you love.

But in terms of evolution, was feeling loved a biological need?

Research that we are genetically programmed to love people who are kind to us, which are mostly our birth mothers.

Otherwise, it is just the boring mating procedures that come close to romance and nothing else.

So, our motive was to mate and regenerate.

Love was never part of the equation.

Then when did love become part of our lives and why?

First, let’s circle back to what love is.

Is it something that stays, or is it a momentary feeling?

If love stays forever, then why do people fall out of love?
