Resident Playbook is a spin-off of the K-drama Hospital Playlist.
I had high expectations before starting this drama because I loved Hospital Playlist. I expected that Resident Playbook would be as good as Hospital Playlist. But somehow, it fell flat. I was not that invested in this drama. This drama had a total of 12 episodes.
This story was set at the Jongno branch of Yuljie Medical Center. This series followed the lives and friendships of obstetrics and gynecology residents. There is no storyline as such, just like Hospital Playlist. Every week, we saw them tackle different patients. The story was very slow-paced and lacked heart. I could not feel the friendships among the residents.

What I found annoying was that they were residents, but they acted like they were still students or interns. They were already doctors, but they were not acting like it. Making mistakes like not able to hold a scalpal properly and hurting a fellow doctor or not able to talk humanly to a…
