Sometimes, when you’re exhausted – tired of explaining yourself, fighting your demons, and just existing – you feel lost. You don’t know how to make things right or who to turn to for help.

You feel like you’re drowning, but you’re not moving, not trying to save yourself, because you feel you don’t have the energy or will to do so, and you’ve accepted your fate. When people question you, offer advice, or reprimand you to change your life or perspective, you want to make that change, but you don’t know how or where to start, and you’re trapped in a cycle you can’t seem to break.

Then, you find yourself in a deep hole, sinking deeper and deeper, looking for a savior to rescue you. But nobody comes, or even if someone tries, they’re unable to reach you. In that moment, you’re on your own. However, that doesn’t mean you can’t escape.

Humans are known for their survival instincts, and you can fight for yours. First, believe in yourself. Mute the voices around you, including your own self-doubt. Convince yourself that you’ll make it out safely – have faith. Then, prepare for a long battle with yourself and the world. Invest in the most important thing: your well-being, mental health, and physical health.
