This is how it feels living with social anxiety disorder.

Walking in public places with your heads down, eyes focused on the ground, full speed, perfectly escaping all the peeps. (My rhyming skills).

Avoiding eye contact with acquaintances or strangers, as if they’re Medusa – one glance and turning into stone.

You have earned the official title “The Plan Rejector’’ from your people. The one who never shows up. Trips, outings, meetups..? Until you master emotional blackmailing, it’s always a big NO.

You are the most interesting person on texts. It’s like you have – dual personality. One in real life, the other via text. Your safe zone is always talking from behind a screen. No pressure. No awkward silence. Just pure comfort and vibes.

Crowds – panic mode ON. It’s real like you can feel the tightness in your chest like it’s trying to hug your lungs to collapse. You secretly wish teleportation were real whenever you feel trapped, cause you just hate crowds. Just take me Home.

Speed talking is your survival mode to get over the conversations with strangers and acquaintances. Like you don’t even know what you said in panic, your sole…
