  1. Love needs participation
    One person cannot carry a connection on their back while the other sits in the silence of their own avoidance.
  2. Avoidance is a choice
    He chose not to respond. He decided to walk away. He said ghosting was his way of “breaking a pattern,” but avoidance isn’t breaking anything but it’s reinforcing it.
  3. The harder I tried, the worse I felt
    I kept thinking maybe if I worded it better, or gave him more time, or understood him more, he’d come around. But I was bending over backwards for someone who wasn’t even reaching out a hand.
  4. When people want to leave, let them
    You don’t have to fight to prove your worth to someone who’s already made up their mind to walk away. If they can’t see your heart when it’s wide open, they don’t deserve to hold it.
  5. Caring deeply isn’t a weakness
    I used to feel embarrassed about how much I cared. But honestly? I’m proud of it. I was honest. I showed up. I tried. I didn’t hide or play games. That’s not weakness. That’s a strength.
