Tesla Cybertrucks Aren’t Useful At All

What is the point of buying and driving these machines? They aren’t functional or even visually appealing to look at. Putting aside my strong negative personal feelings for the for a minute, there are many reasons why I’d argue that this vehicle isn’t even worth consideration.

There’s plenty of evidence to back up my claim. These vehicles are flawed in their design and just downright ugly, not functional for truck use, and are now the target of vandalism and scrutiny over the CEO’s politics and beliefs.

Let’s start with the I mentioned at the beginning. These vehicles were doomed from the start, with reports that some of these cars were stalling after driving as little as 20 miles.

How about problems with brakes, accelerators, and steering? Yeah, these are all things that could happen with the Cybertruck. And those bulletproof windows they were supposed to have? Elon himself even broke through them in a demonstration. Comical, right?

How Could Water Get To This Vehicle?

Water also seems to be a major enemy to the design of this car. The windshield can’t handle even a light rain, and cars in car washes have malfunctioned, among other water-related hijinks. That also applies to snow. Just a little snow can make all sorts of things malfunction on the vehicle. My best suggestion for anyone who drives in these is not to live where any weather happens at all.

It’s not just the actual functionality of the car itself. Its odd shape lends itself to unique injuries, not just to other drivers and pedestrians but to the car owners themselves. Some Tesla owners have noted that the doors can injure them. Not only that, but sometimes the cars don’t even open in an emergency. Imagine being in a Cybertruck and driving into a lake and not being able to escape. A watery tomb trapped in an ugly car forever.

Truck People and Towing Capacity

Next, we’ll look into the mind of truck people. I’m not a truck person myself but I know that there are people who like to own trucks for the practical use reasons. Sure, some people own trucks just to look cool, and they’re likely the market for Cybertruck owners since these are supposed to look futuristic and cool, rather than ugly and unsightly.

Can the Cybertruck tow anything? I just recently watched a video where a guy was testing out the towing capacity of a Cybertruck. At , he noticed a noise from the Cybertruck.

Ultimately, getting the test up to 10,400 pounds, the back and the bottom of the frame of the vehicle snapped. Most trucks use steel for that part of the vehicle, but the Cybertruck uses aluminum, and that’s a huge problem. It won’t hold up to the test of time, even snapping after one heavy use.

Since towing is the main feature that most truckers get trucks for, that’s a bad omen. I couldn’t imagine seeing a trucker going down the road in a Cybertruck trying to haul something like a large boat or another vehicle and then snapping all of a sudden and putting people’s lives in danger.

At that point, we should be holding Elon Musk and his company criminally responsible for such a poor design. If you watch the video, you’ll see that there is a somewhat weak adhesive holding the bottom of the frame to the rest of the vehicle. They’re knowingly endangering people for the sake of cheaping out.

Swastikars, Tesla Stock, and MAGA-Related Vandalism

Now, I will get to the point about the CEO of the company. He has aligned himself with MAGA (Make America Great Again) policies and even some downright racist rhetoric and actions. In correlation with this, Tesla stock has plummeted a large amount in the last month.

Some have dubbed the Cybertruck the “Swastikar” specifically, after his “accidental” Nazi salute at Trump’s inauguration. They’ve even gone as far as spray painting those very words on the vehicles, spraying swastikas on the vehicle, or writing other unsavory adjectives on it.

This negative branding on the truck and the company has led to many people attacking and vandalizing the vehicles. Many Cybertruck owners online have publicly denounced these attacks and have been asked to be left alone. Would you want to be someone who is attacked viciously, or even violently, for supporting a brand you feel close to? I’d rather drive something that isn’t associated with something very negative, even if I like it.

The thing is, a lot of these attacks are warranted. Elon Musk is a monster. He’s a . He’s trying to convince us that he’s saving the world and trying to save America. But in reality, he’s only trying to save himself.

I could see him trying to put a spin on these recent Cybertruck mishaps. The fact is, he does have the backing of the President of the United States. He will likely get bailed out and face no consequences for this disaster. That’s likely a huge reason why he got involved with this administration in the first place.

Can I Find Anything Positive?

I would like to think like a Cybertruck owner for a second and see anything good in these vehicles. I don’t want to end on a bad note completely. I could see where Tesla was going with the basic design of the thing. It’s supposed to look sleek and futuristic. They’re also all-electric, which helps in the push toward an all-electric future.

As I mentioned previously, though, the design is the major reason why I don’t like it. Aside from the style and unique shape, I think it looks like a dumpster. Other people on the have noted that same thing.

The fact that it’s all-electric is the only redeemable quality for me, but there are better vehicles out there, even in the electric arena. There are other electric trucks out there, and they are cheaper than the Tesla model. Rivian and Ford are two examples of companies I’d rather buy from.

A Reality Check For Us All

So to bring it all together, not only do I dislike the CEO of this company and wouldn’t support the politics this finances, but I won’t buy this truck for all of the reasons I listed above. If you care about the future of this country, both in the automotive realm and in the political realm, you’ll help those who have already boycotted and derided the car by joining in.

If you already own one of these cars, wouldn’t it just be easier to trade it in for something better? Why would you want to fuck around and find out? Will you try to trade it in only when it is too late?

The greater implications of all of this is that the Cybertruck is a majorly flawed vehicle from all angles you look at it and the company and CEO are not entities we should be supporting as a people at all. Elon Musk belongs in jail, and this vehicle could be the way that happens, although that is probably wishful thinking.
