I Received My First Rejection Letter
It wasn’t as bad as I thought…
Okay, let’s be honest: no one likes rejection, and as a writer, anytime we submit a new piece, there’s always that element of mystery lingering and leaving us wondering whether that project we worked so hard on will go all the way or not.
Well, for me, I got that answer very quickly, and as the title suggests, it was a hard no to one of my pieces I was almost sure was a perfect fit for what this publishing house was looking for, but believe it or not it was an overall positive experience.
The Listing
It’s no secret that the writing world can be a bit daunting at times. There are so many roads to take and so many ways to branch out that it can seem pretty overwhelming when trying to construct and maintain a personal strategy.
While I prefer to self-publish because it allows more control over my craft, I decided to try something different and signed up for an email list looking for new writers to take part in their upcoming literary works.
