I Am a Hypocrite.
Embracing the Contradictions Within.
Yes, you read it right. I am a Hypocrite. I have probably been a hypocrite all my life.
A Hypocrite is a person who claims or pretends to have certain beliefs about what is right but who behaves in a way that disagrees with those beliefs. ~ Definition of a Hypocrite according to Google.
But,
You must be wondering. What makes me a Hypocrite?
Here’s why:
In my life, there have been many situations when I have given suggestions or advice to my friends. And it’s not like I have suggested anything bad to them. I always gave them advice based on their situation.
However,
After talking to them, or after giving them that advice. When I sat alone or did some work.
I often wondered.
“Why do I never follow the advice I give to others?”
“Why am I like this?”
So, I decided to do some research into this.
I remember searching, “Why do I not follow my own advice?” There were a bunch of articles, and I was too lazy to read any, but I saw a word.
That word was, “HYPOCRITE.”
