Wake Up Without an Alarm? Here’s How I Do It
A Superpower or Just a Trick?
I discovered this trick when I was around 10, living in the same house as my cousin.
At that age, having someone your own age around all the time felt like a gift.
We were super naughty, sneaking into the kitchen late at night to eat something while everyone else was asleep. We even made horror movies with my 5MP camera tablet, which were, let’s be honest, hilariously terrible.
But the best part? Waking up way earlier than everyone else to watch the sunrise behind the mountains from our terrace.
For that “mission,” I was the head. It was my job to wake up before him and then drag him out of bed. And trust me, waking him up was no joke, he slept like a rock.
I couldn’t use an alarm because that would wake up the whole house and ruin the operation.
So, I came up with this genius method: I’d just say, “I’ll wake up at 5:30 tomorrow,” over and over again from the evening before.
Sounds silly, but it worked! The craziest part? It still works for me.
I don’t even need an alarm, I just decide the time, tell it to myself, and Boom — I’m awake.
I don’t know if it’s a trick or some kind of superpower. But hey, if you’ve ever struggled with waking up on time, try it out.
And if it works, let me know. If not, well, maybe I really do have a superpower. Who knows? 😉
