Secrets At The Publishing House
Flash Fiction
Kellis was actually looking forward to her new assignment.
She would get to play a younger version of herself.
And she would get to use the degree her parents had paid so much money for her to get.
They would be so proud.
Well, they would be if she was allowed to tell them.
The publishing house was one of the few that still remained and the powers that be were sure that the money being made there wasn’t just from selling books.
Kellis checked her bag again.
The motion activated cameras would be easy to install.
Surely these guys couldn’t be as bad as the bankers they took down last year.
She was about to find out.
About These Stories
The story above is part of a collection of short fiction pieces I’ll be posting here on Medium. Once I’ve got them all up, I’m planning to pull them together into a paperback book for people who prefer a physical copy.
When the paperback’s ready, I’ll definitely make a post to let you know where you can grab a copy if you’re interested.
