Medium Pays more for your Older Articles
The pay rate can be as high as $0.38 per read
This story is to encourage newbies like me on this platform
In November, we have observed many writers claiming that pay per read has been as low as $0.06. This is so true.
On top of that, it is disheartening for me as a writer to see such a low payout. More often than not, this would be the case with many others.
It discourages and demotivates newbies like me, to some extent.
But, I have something amazing and heartening for all of us.
The Motivator
At the start of November, I noticed something which made me curious.
One of my articles had just one member read and yielded me $0.38 per member read.
About Me — Pragyan Tripathi was the article. That’s quite a number. A six-fold increase to usual earnings per read.
2. Another article, on the same day gave me $0.26 per read. I would again take that any day. The article was about “The Power of Gratitude”.
