4 Lessons I’ve Learned On Surrendering Over The Past Year

I can’t believe this year is coming to a close.

It has flown by! Does anyone else feel this way?

I made ‘Surrender’ my Word of the Year for 2024. I had no idea just how much this would come up - and how much I would need to surrender, let go, and entrust to God!

4 Things I learned about Surrendering:

1 — That I struggle with giving up control.

I want to maintain control of things (and other people’s responses toward me). In reality, I can’t control anything (or anyone) and must surrender it all to God.

2 — That surrendering to Him is the best thing for me.

If I believe God is a Good Father and wants Good things for me, I can let it all go and trust the outcomes with Him. I must truly surrender all things into His loving hands and care!

3 — That I must spend more time with God.
