They Laugh Anyway Kid
Might As Well Get Paid!
One of my favourite movies to watch when I feel down is The Greatest Showman.
In the movie, there's a scene wherein the main character goes to recruit the people that he wants to work in the circus that he wants to create.
The little man that he ends up speaking to then asked him, “You want people to laugh at me?”
The owner of the circus then says to the little man, “They laugh anyway, kid, might as well get paid.” — P.T. Barnum.
If we look at the world that we live in currently, how people can make millions from social media platforms that blow up, for simple ideas like custom painting sneakers, cutting grass, feeding homeless people, speaking about celebrities from your closet, streaming how you play games all day, doing pranks, putting on makeup etc.
The opportunities that are available these days are limitless if you have a creative spirit and can use your imagination to entertain people. Celebrities are being cancelled daily, and people have lost interest in them, while social media content creators are being praised, watched, and streamed daily.
The world is changing, and we can either jump on board and enjoy the ride or miserably be dragged into the change ahead.
