Placebo effect — treatment from lie “

Have you ever drunk fruit beer, when I drank fruit beer for the very first time, I felt that I got drunk. Even fruit beer does not contain 1 percent alcohol, and I was behaving like I had consumed alcohol, But the truth is that fruit beer does not contain alcohol.

A year ago, one of my uncles was suffering from stomachache; he went to the hospital to get a checkup done. The doctor did several tests and found nothing. He prescribed him pills for 2 times only, which is red; after taking those pills, he got free from stomachache. He went to the doctor and told him that he was feeling better can you tell me the name of that medicine? I will keep it for the future. The doctor told him that those were just sugar balls and told him about the Placebo effect.
Placebo effect -
Placebo has been used since 1811, which is taken from the Latin term which means "I shall please ".
According to the studies, 40% of diseases can be treated with the placebo effect. "The placebo is an inactive drug or substance that is given to the patient. It does not have any pharmacological effect; it can be pills, tablets, or injections.
How placebo works -
There are two theories
(1) The expectation effect
(2) The conditioning effect

The expectation effect - placebo shows their action based on how the patient believes, and what they expect. When a patient believes that they will feel better after taking pills, the cortisol level decreases and the patient becomes less anxious.

The conditioning effect - the conditioning effect is also known as the Pavlovian effect. In the past, if you had a stomachache and you took some medicine and felt better that time when you take similar-looking medicine, you will get a similar response.
Nocebo effect -
The adverse effect of a placebo effect is called the nocebo effect. It is a situation where the patient develops some side effects because the patient believes they may occur.
