I’ve always been interested in the idea of open relationships. With all the ugly divorces floating around me as I was growing up monogamy started to look like something that’s nice on paper, but impossible to implement in the real world.

Kinda like communism.

I suggested keeping our relationship open to my first boyfriend. He freaked out.

I suggested it to my second boyfriend. He freaked out more.

In 2019, I met the man of my dreams.

Two free birds thrown together into the chaotic whirlwind of life.

We lived in an open relationship for four years and I don’t regret any of the mistakes we’ve made.

They brought us where we are now, which is… monogamy.

Yes. Somewhere down the road, we became communists.

The first crisis came after 3.5 years together when I started to wonder…
