The people who decided to decrease governmental income by giving tax breaks to millionaires a few years ago are now perplexed to find that the U.S. is spending much more money than we are taking in.

Naturally, they want older people to fix it.

To pay off the national debt, the federal government will either have to win a $31 trillion Powerball Lottery or cut Social Security and Medicare.

Hint: There is no $31 trillion Powerball Lottery.

Here’s a simple test to see if you are going to be expected to forgo benefits in order to finance the tax cuts of the rich: First, take off all your clothes.

Next, look in the mirror. Do you see any gray hair, wrinkles, age spots or loose skin anywhere on your body?

If you do, you are screwed.

To be honest, you’re screwed anyway, because even if you’re young now, you will eventually grow old. (I just wanted to see if I could make you look at yourself naked. Now put your clothes back on. We have important things to discuss.)
