Why Family Court Judges Are Giving Abused Kids Back To Their Abusers
The hidden horror of ‘reunification’ camps across America
There are different kinds of horrifying. There’s the kind that hits you all at once, drops you to your knees. Car crashes or planes falling out of the sky. But the truly horrifying is hard to absorb. Seeps in to slowly settle into your bones, leaves you screaming at the injustice of it.
A Colorado mom has been because she won’t force her 10- and 13-year-old sons to attend “reunification” therapy with their dad. Once, when she arrived to pick them up she found them on the floor curled in the fetal position sobbing. They don’t want to go back.
She said the counsellor told her boys they need to show progress and next time they come back they’ll be ordered to forgive their father.
Their father is awaiting trial for of sexual assault of a minor child. The children in the case are his three daughters.
He’s also charged with assault of one of his sons. The boy woke up one night, and saw what his dad was doing. Dad held the boy underwater so long he was afraid he was going to die, according to the affidavit.
