Workers keep getting smaller pieces of the pie

Most Americans are not aware of how badly they’re being screwed economically, but those of us with European friends and relatives do.

My husband made the worst financial decision of his life when he decided to leave the Netherlands to marry me.

Americans don’t care about workers.

Not even the workers care about workers! They’ve been convinced that caring about workers sounds like socialism, and God knows we cannot have even a whiff of that.

In the aftermath of the worst of the pandemic, workers did see wage increases, but inflation has eaten them away. Right now, everyone is afraid a recession is building and the brief window in which workers could demand more money has closed.

That’s why I have been reading everything I can find about the Federal Reserve’s intentions to keep raising interest rates until the rate of inflation falls to 2 percent.

It’s been shocking to see how little the Fed cares about how many Americans will be thrown out of work by the continual interest rate hikes. They don’t care…
