How To Get The Most Out of Your Medium Membership
There’s plenty of gold if you’re willing to dig for it
If you’re a Medium member, you’re paying for access to literally millions of stories that you might not even realize exist.
Medium is a gold mine, yes. But you need to know how to dig deep for the good stuff.
Occasionally, you run into a writer who produces the kind of work you just love. Maybe it’s funny or politically astute or it teaches you something important. For whatever reason, it speaks to you.
Your first step is to subscribe to that person so you get an email every time he or she publishes. That way, you don’t miss any of the good stuff.
But there’s one more step you can take.
Click the writer’s name to get to that person’s page. You’ll see all their stories listed. And then start scrolling down, down, down. If the writer is prolific and/or has been on this site for a while it might take a while to get to the bottom, so just jump in anywhere.
There’s no need to wait for the author’s future work. That person may have dozens, hundreds or potentially even thousands of great pieces waiting for you to discover.
