When I walk down the street now, all I can think about is how damned hot I am.

I know the neighbors have noticed how hot I am, too.

Maybe it’s the sweat running down my face, or maybe it’s the way my T-shirt sticks to me as I walk my dogs. But I’m hot and I know it, and I know everyone who sees me knows it, too.

The general consensus, definitely, is that I am very, very hot.

I feel like I’ve never been this hot before.

Oh, but I have been. I was even hotter back in 1988, the summer I graduated from college.

Maybe you remember the .

That was the summer I graduated from college.

I was newly married to my first husband, and we were broke. Nobody wanted to hire us for the summer, because they knew we would be leaving when he started teaching in the fall.
