Find your peeps and a place to publish your stories
If you’re newer to Medium like me, you might wonder where to submit your stories, or maybe you don’t want to submit them at all. That’s fine, too.
My goal is to find a “home” where I can submit my stories, most of which are memoirs. I like to write about my childhood memories and my life experiences.
If I submit them to the pubs that focus on these types of stories, the readers who enjoy them will be more inclined to click and read. That’s what we all want. That’s why we’re here. We want to share. We want to be heard. We want to be accepted and appreciated for our creativity, our words, and our work. I’m also here to relate to others — to laugh, cry and share with them. I'm sure I’ll learn a lot too, and maybe I can even share some insight someone might find helpful.
But what pubs should I ask to join?
There seem to be hundreds of them on the platform, and it’s not always evident by the title what kinds of stories are appropriate to submit.
