AI Will Establish Meritocracy and Defeat Mediocrity
In Contradiction to Popular Fears
The rise of Artificial Intelligence technologies stirs up both fear and hope, as it is never certain how such breakthroughs will eventually unfold.
The only fact that is beyond doubt is that the world is changing, and these changes are drastic. Both negative and optimistic expectations from the AI-shaped economic and social paradigm are more than grounded in the present, but whether one or another will assert in our life — is a matter of choice.
Why is that so? Because changes and tectonic shifts in the future vectors of human civilization are inexorable and inevitable. They are impossible to stop and resisting them is useless at the best or bringing about one’s peril at the worst.
In this essay, I will aim to show that any one single individual does not have to suffer from this technological shift, but can be on the side of those who will benefit from it instead.
I will make an even bolder statement and demonstrate that the positive expectations from the development of AI solutions for business have higher pre-factors than the negative ones.
