In a crowd, yet all alone,
I search for a place to call my own.
Faces surround, but none truly see,
The depths of the heart inside of me.
I long for a space, where silence reigns,
Where only my soul and I remain.
To run, to flee, to leave it all,
To hear my spirit’s quiet call.
For in solitude, I’ll find my peace,
A place where all these worries cease.
Where it’s just me, and the world stands still,
Finally free, to feel, to heal.
