AI-A World Without Love

As I write this piece, I feel like Sarah Connor from the “Terminator” series, and I’ll quote her outlook about the future: “In a world ruled by machines, we may create flawless logic, but at the cost of our humanity — where emotions are rendered obsolete and empathy becomes a relic of the past.”
I have recently traveled to countries that have embraced AI technologies and have adopted them in their school systems, teaching via holographic images, replacing the future of teachers. I do not claim to be opposed to AI technologies, the 5-year-old that creates a DNA strand devoid of disease, or the robot worker that can build pyramids in a day. I am not opposed to this future; however, I have been witness to the end of a workforce that feels.
Bringing AI into the schoolsystems will make our children indeed wiser; oh, we will create young geniuses, definitely; however, we will also lose every aspect that will make them children. A hefty price we will sacrifice to pay, don’t you think?
Being authentic, vulnerable, and imperfect will soon lose its worth. Being human…
