You Don’t Have to Kill Yourself in Your 20s
You’re missing the point.
“She’s in her early 20s. Let her test the waters with this relationship.”
I saw this comment in a thread on Twitter. It’s about an influencer who’s potentially dating a trash-ass guy. Some of her fans are worried about her, but thousands of people agreed with the comment above.
Ugh…here we go again.
Where is this coming from?
Why do some people all of a sudden condone people making terrible mistakes in their 20s? It’s weird.
Sure, I understand the whole “take risks” and “live while you’re young” statements.
But…tons of 20-year-olds take them too seriously.
When people tell you it’s okay to take risks and make mistakes, that’s not an excuse to be a dumbass and put yourself in terrible situations on purpose.
I know you want to go on lavish vacations with countless margaritas in your hands and show it off on Instagram. I know Gary Vee said you should invest thousands of dollars into crypto as soon as you’re 20. I know you want to live on the edge without mom and dad.
