Why We Fear the Leap And What Makes It Disappear
By Chrystal Brotherson
The scariest part of the leap is rarely the distance.
It’s the silence on the other side.
But when that silence is filled with voices that say:
✅ “You’ve got this.”
✅ “We believe in you.”
✅ “Fall if you must — we’ll catch you.”
✅ “Fly, and we’ll cheer louder than anyone.”
Then the fear shrinks.
The unknown becomes an invitation.
And the fall… doesn’t feel like falling at all.
Because risk loses its sharpest edge
when you’re surrounded by people
who soften the landing or lift your wings. 🕊️
So before you leap, ask not “What if I fail?”
Ask: “Who will be there when I land?”
The answer changes everything. 🌄
