Why Do Mothers Seem To Have The Same Words For Their Children
When the hour is near, everything becomes clear
There are certain words that I usually hear at burials. Especially burials of women, to be specific, mothers. You know, people talk, but up until now, what I have never understood is people who hold distant conversations during burial ceremonies!
Like, aren’t we here to mourn the dead? So then what are those whispers about? It makes sense anyway, I think there’s a verse in the Bible where Jesus said something like, “let the dead bury their dead.”
Where I come from, burials are attended in bigger numbers than any other ceremony. Well, the numbers can’t be compared to a Beatles concert or the most iconic BTS event. Occasionally, 50% of the mourners or even more don’t know the dead in the coffin, and the dead person didn’t know them either.
Anyway, you will hear words like,
“I know heaven is real. But how will she enter heaven when she knows she has left her children here alone?”
“Will she be able to rest well? Is her soul resting while her children are here suffering?”
Some even go the extra mile to be God’s spokesperson, saying, “A mother can never enter heaven.”
