When I awaken,
Sunlight floods the room,
Embracing my body
With the warm embrace of a new day.
Yet, the flame of fear within
Kindles and reminds me
Of the uncertainty that may unfold.
Life,
A delicate butterfly effect,
The uncertainty outside
Stirs the curiosity within,
For life is not only uncertain,
But uncertainty itself
Is uncertain.
At times,
Days blur into monotony,
Where my inner curiosity fades,
And eyelids close in slumber,
Yearning for a miracle
In the dawn to come.
Still,
Occasionally,
Uncertainty unfolds,
Unwelcome and unforeseen,
And I find myself regretting
Not cherishing
The bland day I wished away.
But,
When morning arrives,
Without any expectation,
Gratitude fills me
