Dear Writers and Readers,
We’ve been feeling a bit lost in the mists of time lately—it feels like January has flown by incredibly quickly. I wanted to apologise for the lack of updates from us.
While we’ve been publishing at a slower pace than usual (down from 40 submissions a day to around 15), we’ve continued to share your work. This post is a reassurance that we will continue to do so, at least for the time being.
Yes, we’re exploring other avenues ( to be exact, and some of you have already joined us), but we’re also continuing to support you here as best we can. We want to give writers who love KTHT the opportunity to continue to be part of our community regardless of external circumstances.
The truth is that these past few weeks have given us a lot to think about—our values as a publication and as a community. We’ve been thinking about our mission and how we’d like to have a bit more control over our publication in the future. We also thought about how we could best support our contributors outside of this platform. We’ve been working hard behind the scenes, and it feels like a vision is taking shape.
