It’s Okay, They Can Hear Me
Even when my lips won’t move
Have you ever observed people — I mean, those in love? Have you ever noticed how they act around someone they like? You’ll see it in their smile, that unconscious glow they carry in their presence.
And if you watch closely, you might even catch their pupils dilating, their entire being responding to something unsaid.
Without force. Without compulsion.
But beyond the smiles and glances, there’s something deeper.
When two people are truly meant for each other, they communicate in ways words never could. A fleeting glance, a subtle nod, a shared silence — it’s a language of its own.
It’s the silent “I get you” without a single syllable spoken.
Isn’t that what parents do, especially mothers?
A mother who wholeheartedly embraces her role doesn’t need her child to say a word.
She knows when to comfort, when to guide, when to simply be there. She listens to what isn’t said, sees what others overlook.
And no, this isn’t to dismiss fathers or anyone else — it’s just a truth we often take for granted.
