When I was a kid, Autumn was my favourite month. The beauty of the forest leaves and the shorter days leading to cosy evenings. But now I am in the autumn of my life, I adore spring. I can’t resist the optimism of the new blooms and the longer days. What about you?

Here are a bunch of spring writing prompts which will suit poems or personal essays. They are valid right through to the end of June when summer comes along. Please interpret them in your own individual way.
