her digital tentacles
and now-on-sales

I shed the Earth
her shallow graves
and even shallower songs

I shed the Earth
her killed and died for
planet-wide semenfests

I shed the Earth
her me, me, me, me
me, me, me

I shed the Earth
her ever lies
and politics

I shed the Earth
her ever promised
unkept promises

I shed the Earth
her ever wars
and skirmishes

I shed the Earth
her once upon
a wondrous time

I shed the Earth
her lonely run
around the Sun

I shed Thee
