I Dreamt My House Was On Fire
Dream Wisdom on Change and Release
I love the dream world. It’s a world where anything is possible; you can fly, walk through walls or on water, or, in the blink of an eye, be somewhere else and not miss a beat.
It’s a place where we can commune with other aspects of ourselves and receive messages and guidance we might otherwise miss.
I especially love the dreams that are vivid, that you just know in your bones mean something, that when you recall them, you step right back into the experience of them.
Dreams are particularly fascinating because they are holographic, meaning a single snapshot or symbol from the dream holds the entire message within it. You don’t even necessarily need to understand or remember them because your subconscious does (but it is more fun if you do!).
Dreams also have layers; the same dream can hold more than one message and for more than one area of your life.
An example was a dream where my house was on fire.
I was outside my home with my husband, and we were just getting ready to go somewhere. Outside we could smell gas, and my husband wondered if the gas fireplace was on but I said, “No, the wood one had been on, but I had put the fire out…”
