If I’ve to pick just one habit that I’ve consistently practiced over the years, it’s journaling.
I’ve been doing it for the past 18 years now, but I still fret about getting started every time I buy those aesthetically appealing journals.
It’s almost as if I’m stressing myself out by the fear of ruining the first page with bad handwriting or a messy entry.
I know it’s not meant for anyone else to read. But if you have a little perfectionist living inside your head rent-free, like I do, you’ll know what I’m talking about.
Journaling is meant to calm your anxiety, lower your stress levels, and get clarity of thoughts. If the very first journal entry makes me feel the opposite, then what’s the point, right?
