1+1=2... or is it?
When Math Doesn’t Work Anymore……
Everything in life is calculated with paper and pen—if you calculate your life right, you will inevitably get the results you expect. This is how life works.
Study > Success.
Work > Promotion and money.
Work hard > You will find what you seek.
You will harvest what you plant.
I studied hard and didn’t get the results I wanted.
I worked hard but didn’t get promoted or make money—just a few pennies.
There’s something wrong!
In short, I planted, but I didn’t harvest anything.
– Maybe something went wrong. Maybe you need to fix your plan, or you should put in more effort next time. Sure, you failed because you messed something up.
– But my plan was solid and I did my best.
– So, why did you fail?
– And does there always have to be an answer?
Life is not just a paper-and-pen equation where the result is in your hands.
Some people give their all and don’t succeed, while in others, luck speaks its word and decides to stand by their side.
I’ve seen people who did their best and got nothing, and I’ve met people honest enough to say, “I have no idea how I got here.”
There’s always something unknown. Your effort wasn’t lacking, but there’s a factor beyond your control.
People call it different things—luck, circumstances, fate.
While I believe it’s Allah’s plan.
Each of us is living a story already written by Him.
And behind everything that happens, there’s a hidden wisdom we may never fully understand.
Your plan wasn’t wrong. Your effort wasn’t wasted.
There was just something bigger than you at play.
No one knows if the result of their equation will be 2, 0, or even 100.
No one knows, and we’re not meant to.
The result is not yours, and it will never be. That’s why we’re only asked to strive—nothing more.
Whatever the result, just remember: there was no mistake.
Because it was never really in your hands to begin with.
The law of life: x(1+1) = y
You will never know your result until you know what x is in your equation. Until then, the unknown will always be your answer.
