After all this time you’re still unaccustomed to these old backbones.
I don’t know where they went but I’ve got them back now.

The way they landed on your shortcomings always looked off to me, but that makes sense because they weren’t designed for you; they were tailored for me

Oh wait, they are me.

Oh, hello, me. It’s nice to see you standing tall again.

To all those fighting off invisible illnesses and abuse: keep swimming, just keep swimming. It really can get better.
