Many times we try to avoid understanding our difficult emotions. As we think there are a lot more important things to deal with. Making it our least priority and leaving it hanging and bottled up inside our dreary heart. Letting sadness be replaced with ignorance. Introducing anger to a greater rage. Escaping fear in purpose to forget. Engulfing loneliness through the gratifying of bad habits. Though, as we all know that change is the only constant thing in this world. We are capable to be better.

Here are some steps on how you can deal with negative emotions and this is coming from my own personal experience:

  1. Be aware of what you’re feeling and sit with it.

Do not run away, those are valid feelings. Stop judging the emotions that are rising because identifying how you deeply feel takes a lot of practice. You need to process and comprehend why or what made you feel that way. While you delve into it, you don't have to disguise yourself from people or even you just because you do not want to be vulnerable.
