Seasons of Change: November Writing Prompt

You’ll have to excuse my tardiness with this month’s prompt. (Is it still considered tardy if I just missed the whole month of October altogether?)

October was busy. My partner and I headed off to walk the Great Glen Way — a week-long, 120+ km walk through the Scottish highlands — at the beginning of the month, and I found it difficult to write while my body was in survival mode. That story is on the way.

I also landed a few client projects that I had pitched, which is great for my business as a freelancer, but meant that the month was a whirlwind of work and recovery, that left me little brain space for writing. Lots of thoughts about that, also.

The writing wheels have been turning, but balance hasn’t been a strength this past month.

Necessary adaptability

It’s hurricane season in my native South Florida, and it’s got me reflecting on the weather.
