To introduce the pub, I want to start right out of the gate with a writing prompt.
As a writer, I love a good prompt. At a minimum, it helps to guide us when we’re not sure what to write about on a rainy Saturday. At its best, a writing prompt serves as a creative spark that allows us to consider something in a way we haven’t before.
You’re welcome to submit stories on any other topic that aligns with this publication, at any time. The prompts are just for fun.
Since we’re nearing the end of August, this prompt will remain open for the next month, though I’ll be posting a new prompt for September on the 1st of the month.
I’ve been thinking about friendships a lot.
I grew up in a tight-knit community, and went to school with nearly the same group of girls that I graduated from high school with. As it is in life, though, the only constant is change.
