If you’re on the internet, you have heard a bevy of social media-engineered terms, such as the aforementioned ones. Some of them are uber cool, while a few others are absolutely crazy.
Look at these fancy phrases from whichever perspective you would like, but they all mean the same — big money (earned or shadily acquired), carefully curated image of a perpetually happy girl, boasting of overconsumption of all kinds, and an army of online followers heaping praises even when an influencer sneezes.
No, I am not shaming anyone.
In fact, I am in no position to take the high moral ground and pretend I don’t consume such content. I do. But it has stopped being fun for me.
You know why?
Because of the toxicity social media regularly ensues.
