Where The Ragged People Go
Strength in fragility.
“Everybody’s got a story that will break your heart.” Amanda Marshall
That person hiding behind the building to sleep at night, they had a dream, a hope.
Somebody loved them once.
Now you see the ragged person stuffed into the corners of your world.
We are all just one away.
– one heartbreak
– one loss of a person we love
– one diagnosis from the doctor
– one firing
– one more bottle
– one more hit
– one less strand holding us to the world.
Strength in the fragility.
Does something become more precious in the moments when we recognize their fragility?
Is it impermanence?
Is it change?
There is beauty in the first buds on the trees
and the summer blooms
and the changing colors of the leaves.
We are all fragile and yet we can let that be our gift and strength back to the world.
