Waking up in the Now!
Softly.
What will it take for you to wake up fully in this now moment?
How can you be present to what you are blind to?
To what is calling you deeply from your own abyss that can barely be sensed?
Imagine the joy of sinking fully into this very immediate now that you are breathing in.
It requires that your focus does not veer off.
Do you remember trying to touch a candle flame when you were a child?
It looked so beautiful and graceful. Dancing to some invisible and imperceptible current of air.
Every time you came close to it, it burned you a little, so you instinctively pulled back.
This is your relationship with your present moment.
You keep dancing around it.
Now and then, you come close to it, but then you instinctively pull back, shocked by what you find in there.
More often than not, you pull back so fast that you never even notice the presence that is waiting for you in there.
Yet, we are compelled to keep gravitating towards our centre, the permanent residence of our eternal now.
There is nowhere else to go!
This is the only place where the real you is, but, you cannot bear its realness.
So you keep coming and going!
Never settling in and never staying away too long.
With time, you notice that the more you make peace with your unwillingness to stay, the longer you stay each time you visit.
What happens now is that each present moment expands and you relax more into it.
You realise everything is okay, regardless of what storms are raging inside of you.
And it is in this ‘okay-ness that life unfolds from within you.
And the peace pours out, blessing the life around you.
