The dying art of writing letters

Imagine you’ve got this secret spot, maybe a drawer under a pile of your favorite comic books. But instead of action figures, it’s full of actual paper letters! Some have soft, crinkly edges from being opened and read a bunch of times, and the ink might be a little faded.

These letters are from all sorts of people, old buddies, folks who started as strangers but became good friends, and even some whose stories feel like precious family tales now. The person telling this story keeps them not just because they like remembering things (though they totally do!), but because each letter feels like a tiny superhero standing up to the world’s crazy rush.

Think about it: we live in a world that’s always beeping, scrolling, and zooming around. It’s super easy to get lost in all that digital noise, and sometimes friendships can feel like they’re just a bunch of “seen” messages and chats you never quite finish. But, when this writer grabs a pen and a piece of paper, something cool happens.
