My Year of Change: God Answered my Prayer Differently than Expected

We are never too old to change. It’s interesting that sometimes God answers prayers we don’t even ask. He answers them, but not the way we hoped or expected. In the end, though, He always knows best, and I’ve had to learn to trust the process and wait for His answers.
I wrote this story below about five months ago. I was buying a manufactured home and was excited to share the news with everyone.
Unfortunately, the home purchase did not go through. For many reasons, I changed my mind and backed out. I lost money in the deal but knew I could not afford it in the long run. I kept trying to go through the purchase, but I sensed that God was telling me this wasn’t the right time to buy a home.
When I finally accepted his nudging and backed out, I was devastated. I thought I was going to have to live with my stepmom forever. Then, a few months later, by mere “accident,” I learned about these beautiful Manufactured Homes for rent in the same city I was hoping to live in.
