We grow up hearing about menstruation — the cramps, the mood swings, the “monthly visitor”. There are campaigns, ads, school lectures, and even trending reels dedicated to it.
But menopause?
That’s a ghost chapter. A quietly closed book. And yet, it impacts every woman deeply, uniquely, and often invisibly.
My mother is going through menopause right now. And for the first time, I’m seeing up close how overlooked, isolating, and misunderstood it can be.
