prime minister waves
camera pans to the banners say Diversity is a strength
have you wondered for whom they demonstrate
the minority non-straight or the political game?

I run away
a betrayal or the betrayed
a celebrated who refuses to celebrate
I ain’t taking no more names
the God-remembered LGBT phrases —
LGBTQ2+, LGBTQIAPK, LGBTTQQIAA
Can long names heal the century-long pain?

Will you leave June alone and let it be plain
