How Screens Are Rewiring Your Mind.
I know this is a heavily debated and very current topic, but we keep making the same mistakes. Despite all the conversations, these harmful habits have become normalized - almost mundane. It’s fascinating how we stubbornly cling to our digital vices, unaware of how deeply they affect us, sometimes irreversibly.
Why don’t we acknowledge the damage? Why can’t we see that we’re glued to our phones all day long? Why don’t we realize we’re dealing with a real addiction? Why do we ignore the danger, not understanding that our brains are at risk of being “fried”?
The role of the brain. A story - or a painful truth?
The brain’s primary function is to process information efficiently, to build connections, to reflect, to analyze and form judgments - not to be constantly bombarded with stimuli! These natural processes are meant to support our lives, yet we’re interrupting them constantly and unnecessarily through intense visual and mental overload. I truly believe we must remain vigilant in how we engage with digital content.
A call to reflect on the virtual world.
In this context, perhaps it’s time to take a deeper look at how we relate to the digital realm. It might seem trivial- but it’s not. I think we should pay more attention…
