Minor changes with significant life impact.
Have you ever noticed that just changing the location of furniture in your home can make the place look brighter or maybe bigger? You may make use of some unused corner of the room this way as well. Isn’t it interesting that the size of the room is the same and the furniture is also the same, just a change in the placement can make a significant difference.
Keeping your room, bathroom, and living area neat uplifts your mood the entire day. Just a small change in your daily routine to arrange stuff around you and keep things clean can have a big impact on your mood. Cleaning my living area and making it look good personally worked quite well for me to have a good impact on the mood.
Whenever I don’t feel like working, I sit quietly on my work chair for a few minutes and start to think about something particularly uplifting about my work, maybe the end goal. Being in this state for a few minutes makes the mind shift smooth to start the work and gives some initial boost. A small change that worked well.
