This is my opinion regarding my body, habits, and circumstances. Your body, habits, and circumstances will be completely different. We all gain and lose weight at different rates.
I have always wondered where and when my obsession with food began. I only realized I had one when a comment was made to me in an argument.
A fiancé who was experiencing alcohol addiction spat back at me, “I will admit and deal with my alcohol addiction when you admit and deal with your sugar addiction.” Furthermore, stating, “There really is no difference; they both harm you, your body, and those around you”.
We didn’t get married, and we have both sought acceptance of our addictions.
This is my journey with my food [sugar] addiction to date.
